Teacher of Humanities - Geography Specialism

Do you teach Geography and are looking for your next challenge? If so, we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our vibrant Humanities department. Do you relish the opportunity to inspire young people and help them reach their full potential both academically and personally? This role would be ideal for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for their first post in a supportive and dynamic environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified and organised teacher, to work within an innovative and successful Team. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional who has a real love for their subject, is passionate about sharing this and has the capacity to use creative approaches in their teaching. Our ideal candidate will be a committed practitioner who shares our vision that all our students will leave Chertsey High School as life-long learners, prepared academically and socially for the life and careers ahead of them. If you feel that you can encourage, guide, motivate and challenge our students to achieve these outcomes then we would be delighted to hear from you.

Prior to application, a telephone conversation with the Deputy Headteacher or a tour of the school is welcomed. Please contact the Head Teachers PA Debbie Gibbs on gibbsd@chertseyhighschool.co.uk if you would like to arrange either.
